Terms
Terms of service
The rules for using this website. Engagements are governed by a signed agreement, not by this page.
Last reviewed 19 September 2026.
What these cover
These terms apply to this website: reading it, sending the contact form, booking a consultation and subscribing to the writing. They are between you and Loomwork, a consultancy operated by Vanessa Carmin.
They are not an engagement contract. If we agree to work together, that is a separate signed agreement setting out scope, fees and deliverables, and it takes precedence over everything here.
The consultation
The consultation is free, lasts thirty minutes and carries no obligation on either side. Booking a time is a request to meet, not a contract for services.
If a booking cannot be confirmed automatically we will confirm it by email within one business day. Either of us can cancel or rearrange; please give us what notice you can, and we will do the same.
We will tell you honestly when we think there is nothing here worth automating. The written summary afterwards is yours either way.
What you send us
Please do not send confidential material, credentials, personal data about other people, or anything you are not free to share, through the contact form. It is a first message, not a secure channel — if something sensitive is needed we will arrange a proper way to send it.
You keep ownership of what you send. You are giving us permission to use it to reply to you and to prepare for the conversation, nothing more.
What is on this site
The words, design, code and images here belong to Loomwork. You are welcome to read, quote and link to them with attribution. You may not republish substantial parts as your own.
Case studies and testimonials describe real work, published with the client’s permission. Some are anonymised at their request. They describe what happened for one business and are not a promise of the same result for another.
Availability
We keep the site up and accurate, but it is offered as it is. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and scheduling availability shown here depends on a third-party system that can be unavailable — in which case the form still works and a person will reply.
Liability
Nothing on this site is professional advice for your specific situation; advice comes from an engagement, where we have actually looked at your systems. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from decisions made on the strength of general information published here.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not permit it to be limited.
Your data
What we collect and how long we keep it is set out in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms; the date at the top says when they were last reviewed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version.
